This version is a completely new taking advantage of the latest capabilities of iOS4 and iOS5.
(It is important to note that any users still running iOS3.x should not install this update).
In addition to app version updates you may have noticed that our global coverage continues to improve.
Recent improvements include the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia - a big thanks to all those that help us with this.
We are always working hard to keep extending coverage so please check into the app regularly.
New in Plane Finder 3.0 are:
✈ Aircraft Display - Smoother movements and no more flashing during updates.
✈ Aircraft Display - No more clustering of aircraft even when viewing the whole world.
✈ Details Screen and Menus - Enhanced look and feel.
✈ Filters - Re-designed with powerful extra options - including new airport and aircraft type controls - see the in app help for full details.
✈ Heading - Added the aircraft heading when selecting an aircraft.
✈ Search - Now displays a list of all aircraft currently tracked.
Fixes:
✈ Various bug fixes and changes identified from user feedback.
✈ Added option for Facebook logout in the Settings screen.
✈ We no longer display aircraft where we do not receive positional information (these were previously shown at Lat/Lon 0,0).
